FARES SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE
DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT
A $300 deposit per person is required at time of reservation.  Balance payable no later than 60 days prior to departure date.

Reservations will be held until 30 minutes prior to cruise departures without risk of automatic cancellation.  No refunds will be made in the event of “no shows” or interruption or cancellation by the guest after the scheduled departure times.  We strongly recommend the purchase of trip cancellation insurance from your agent.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Refunds will be made for written cancellations received by Gala Tours as outlined below prior to departure date.  Cancellations other than in writing within the following prescribed periods are not acceptable.  Cancellation charges are determined by the number of days before trip departure when written notice is received.

Cancellations received prior to departure are subject to the following cancellation charges:
60 days or more

29 - 15 days
14 - 08 days
07 days or less / No-show

PRICE GUARANTEE
Gala Tours reserves the right to increase published fares without prior notice.  However, fully paid or deposited guests will be protected, except for port charges, fuel surcharges, government taxes and other surcharges which are subject to change without notice.
FARE EXCLUDES
Governmental taxes and fees, taxes on airline transportation, shore excursion, medical services, items of a personal nature, such as beverages, shop purchases, beauty salon / barber shop and massage services, gambling and service/porterage gratuities are not included in the tour price.
SERVICE CHARGES
A $100 service charge will be assessed for a) any cruise or airline reservation and vacation package changes within 35 days of departure except for stateroom upgrades or the addition of services (per guest, per change). A $35 service charge will be assessed for b) research and/or providing copies of airline tickets or other documentation subsequent to your cruise (per request, payable in advance). Changes require the prior approval of cruise and may not always be possible.
REFUNDS
Refunds are limited by Star Cruises Passenger Contract.  Star Cruises may change the advertised trip, passage fares and may even terminate the passenger contract at any time.  In any such case the passenger’s right to a refund is governed by the terms of the Star Cruises passage contract.  No refunds or adjustments will be made in the event of interruption or cancellation of the cruise by the passenger after the commencement of the cruise.
PASSPORTS AND VISAS/TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
All passengers must be in possession of a passport with a validity of at least 6 months.  All travel documents such as passports, visas, proof of citizenship, etc.  Are required for embarkation and disembarkations at the various ports of call and are the responsibility of the passenger.  Visa regulations vary depending on your destination and you should obtain details from the consulates of the countries that you wish to visit, or from your travel agent.  Passengers will not be allowed to board the vessel without proper documentation and no refund of the tour price will be given to any passenger failing to bring such documentation.
REFUSAL OF PASSAGE AND PREMATURE DISEMBARKATION
Passage may be refused to any passenger, and any passenger’s cruise may be terminated at any time, at the risk and expense of the passenger disembarked, where in the opinion of the ships’s captain or physcian, a passenger is unfit for travel or a risk or danger to himself or herslf or a disturbance or danger to others.  Such passenger may be left at any port or place at which the ship calls without any liability to Star Cruises.


Star Cruises shall not be required to refund any portion of the fare paid by any passenger who must leave the cruise prematurely for any reasons set forth above or otherwise, nor shall Star Cruises be responsible for lodging, meals, return transportation or other expenses  incurred by the passenger.  Passenger who fails to be on board at any port of call may however, at their own cost, join the vessel at the next scheduled port of call.  Local handling agents are available to assist the passenger.
FAILURE TO BE ON BOARD
Star Cruises shall not be required to refund any portion of the fare paid by any passenger who fails for any reason to be on board the ship at the time of departure from the port of embarkation or any port of call and shall not be responsible for lodging, meals transportation, or other expenses incurred by the passenger as a result thereof.  Star Cruises shall have no obligation to any passenger to deviate from any scheduled  sailing or port of call.
INDEMNIFICATION BY PASSENGER
Each passenger agrees to indemnify Star Cruises for all penalties, fines, charges, losses or expenses incurred or imposed upon Star Cruises by virtue of any act, omission or violation of law by the passenger.
PASSENGER’S LIABILITY
Each passenger, or if a minor, his parent or guardian, shall be liable to and shall reimburse Star Cruises for all damage to the ship and its furnishings and equipment, or any property of the ship, caused by willful or negligent act or omission on the part of the passenger.

OTHER SERVICES OF INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS
Portions of the tours and services described in this brochure are provided by independent contractors, including but not limited to, tour operators and franchise retail operators.  Gala Tours shall have no obligation or liability of any kind to passengers for acts or omissions in connection with or arising out of arrangements with independent contractors, including, but not limited to, tour operators and franchise retail operators since they are not agents for or employees of Gala Tours.
RESPONSIBILITY IMPORTANT INFORMATION / PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Gala Tours relationship and responsibility:  Gala Tours management (”Gala”) is an independent travel agent providing booking and reservation services and products (”Travel services and products” as used herein includes, without limitation, air, ground and water transportation, sightseeing, tours, cruises, accommodations, meals, activities, facilities, equipment, entertainments, etc.)  Gala is responsible only for making the requested bookings and reservations for your travel.


Gala is an independent contractor and is not responsible for furnishing or providing any travel services or products for which such bookings and reservations are obtained.  All travel services and products are provided by Gala Tours and other separate independent contractors (”providers or suppliers”), which are acknowledged to be disclosed principals.  Gala accepts and makes bookings and reservations, issues tickets, vouchers, and other travel documents for such services and products merely as an agent for the providers and suppliers of travel products and services.

Gala shall not be liable or responsible in any manner whatsoever, for personal injury property damage or loss, or any other damage, loss harm, delay or inconvenience to you, your travel companions or group members (collectively and individually “traveler”). Arising in connection with any travel service or product; or caused by any act, omission or breach of contract on the part of any provider of travel services or products or any other person or entity not Gala’s employee or under its direct control; or any other case beyond Gala’s control.  Gala shall have no liability in the absence of willful misconduct or gross negligence on the part of Gala.

Gala shall not be responsible for any injuries, damages or losses whatsoever cased to any traveler in connection with terrorist activities, hijack, strike, social or labor unrest, mechanical or construction failures or difficulties, sickness, disease, quarantine, local laws, governmental acts of requirements, acts of God, climatic conditions, criminal acts, or any actions, omissions, or conditions outside the control of Gala.

All travel services and products, and related tickets, vouchers and other travel documents, shall be determined according to the current terms, conditions, policies, rules, regulations, services and products offered by the provider as of the date of departure (some of which may limit or exclude the supplier’s or provider’s liability).  Traveler is responsible to become acquainted and comply with such terms and conditions of the respective providers and suppliers.  Gala makes no representations or warranties of any name, type, or nature whatsoever concerning the providers of services, their financial responsibility or condition, operations, or any services or products to be rendered by such provider’s rates, bookings, services, products, reservations, operations, security, connections, scheduling or handling of personal effects.  Gala or its agents shall not be responsible for loss or damage to Participant’s baggage; baggage insurance is recommended.

Gala has no special knowledge, and makes no representations, relative to safe or unsafe conditions, hearth or weather hazard  or other conditions at any location where you may be traveling.  For information about possible dangers or other conditions at the locations where you will be traveling, you should contact the Travel Advisory Section of the United States State Department locally or in Washington D.C. At (202) 647-5225.  For medical and health information, you should contact the Public Health Service at (301) 443-2403.  Traveler assumes complete and fill responsibility for , and hereby releases Gala from, any duty of checking or verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of each destination, and all safety, security, and other conditions at such destinations during the length of the proposed travel. By payment for our use of, the reservations and bookings or related travel documents for his/her travel, the traveler acknowledges and agrees to all the terms and conditions herein, and voluntarily assumes all risks involved in such travel, whether expected or unexpected.  Traveler is hereby warned of such risks and is advised to obtain appropriate insurance coverage against them.

Each provider of services and products has the right to cancel, discontinue, delay, or change any service or product, or deviate from the itinerary, without liability to such provider or Gala, if such provider or Gala, in its absolute discretion, deems such to be justified for any reason or condition which the provider may deem reasonable and prudent.  Gala shall not have any liability by reason of any such cancellation, discontinuance, delay, change or deviation, or for any failure to arrive at, or depart from, any port at the scheduled or announced time.
